What it does

Not just a gallery — the story of a life

Nesora reads the photos already on your phone and turns them into timelines, faces and memories you can actually return to.

Timeline by year & month — Your photos fall into place, year by year and month by month. Duplicates and near-identical bursts are folded together, and each period gets a smart preview of its best shots.

People, recognised on your phone — Face recognition runs on your device. Nesora groups similar faces for you to confirm, learns from your confirmations, and tries to skip statues, posters and cartoon faces.

Generations Mirror (Pro) — Pick an age and see 2–4 family members side by side at that same age — Dad at five in 1985 next to his child at five today. Export a Story-sized image to share if you wish.

Two Timelines (Pro) — Two lives, side by side, age by age — until the first photo you share, where the two paths become one.

Face time-lapse (Pro) — One portrait per year, eyes aligned to the same spot, played as a flipbook of growing up. Scrub through the years or press play.

Memorial space (Pro) — A quiet, gentle place for a loved one — or a pet — who has passed: chapters of their life, the notes you write, and the places in their photos, set apart from everyday pictures.

Old paper photos — Scan prints from old albums and put them back in the right year. Date photos one by one, or (Pro) select a whole batch — “Mum and Dad’s wedding, 1992” — and shift them all at once. Your original files are never modified.

Archive for screenshots & documents — Screenshots and photos of documents are kept out of your memories and sorted into drawers. Text is read on your device, so you can search it — accents optional, in many languages.

Search & filters — Find photos with everyone you pick, at a certain age, in a given year, at an event or in an area. Areas are worked out on your device — no online map lookups.

Import from a ZIP file — Bring in photos exported from another service or an old computer as a ZIP file. They are copied into Nesora’s private folder and join your timeline.

Photobook PDF (Pro) — Export a printable PDF laid out in time order, from childhood onward — for one person or the whole family.

App lock & private profiles — Lock the whole app, or individual profiles, behind Face ID, fingerprint or your device passcode. Nesora only receives a yes/no answer from your phone — never biometric data.

Privacy by design

Three promises we can keep

Family photos are among the most personal things you own. So we only promise what Nesora really does — no absolute slogans.

Analysis happens on your phone

Face recognition, grouping, reading text (OCR), age calculation and duplicate detection all run on your device. Nesora does not send your photos anywhere to be analysed.

Face data stays on your device

Face vectors, facial landmarks and the personal model Nesora learns from your confirmations are stored only on your device. Nesora never uploads them.

Photos leave only when you choose

A photo leaves your phone through Nesora only when you share it or export it — a PDF photobook or a Story image.

What does connect to the internet — honestly

On Android, Google ML Kit (used for on-device face detection and text recognition) sends Google diagnostic and usage information such as device model, OS and app version and performance figures — not your photos, faces or text. Google’s disclosure.
On Android, the document scanner may download its module through Google Play services. On iPhone, recognition uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework.
Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play — Nesora never sees your card details.
Your phone’s own system backup (iCloud Backup, Google backup) may include Nesora’s app folder. You control that in your phone’s settings.

Three quiet steps

Choose which photos

Give Nesora access to your whole library, or only the photos you select. You can change this anytime in your phone’s settings.
Nesora reads them on your phone

It builds your timeline, folds duplicates and finds faces. Big libraries keep going in the background, for example while your phone charges.
Confirm faces, add birthdays

Name the people who matter and add their dates of birth. Ages, mirrors and time-lapses then fall into place.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does Nesora upload my photos?

No. Photos are analysed on your phone. A photo only leaves your device through Nesora when you choose to share or export it.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login, and there is no Nesora server holding a copy of your library.

Will Nesora change or delete my original photos?

No. Nesora reads your library and keeps small preview copies in its own folder. Dates you set are saved in Nesora’s own database, not written into your files. Deleting Nesora’s data never deletes photos from your library.

Does it work offline?

Yes, the core features work without an internet connection. Buying or restoring Pro needs a connection to your app store, and on Android the document scanner may need to download its module the first time.

What happens when I change phones?

Nesora doesn’t have its own cloud backup or transfer yet. Your photos stay wherever you already keep them. Nesora’s own data (names, confirmed faces, notes) may be included in your phone’s system backup, depending on your settings; otherwise Nesora can scan again on the new phone and you confirm faces again.

How accurate is face recognition?

Good, but not perfect — babies, profiles, old scans and low-light shots are harder. That’s why Nesora asks you to confirm groups, and it learns from each confirmation.

How do I cancel Pro Yearly?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

When can I download Nesora?

Nesora is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. This page will link to the stores as soon as it’s available.
